Day Five took us to La Carpio. A community built on a trash dump- the poorest of the poor. It was a day that we were able to see how God provides and be reminded of His faithfulness.
God has provided in miraculous ways for His people that we worked with on this special day.
Our day start d with service lunch to the children in the community.
Next it was moving up stairs to play games!
First led by them- then us! Fun for all!
Next it was a lesson on how Jesus calms the storm taught by Kristen and Gabby!
Following the craft, it was time to get our hugs and say our good byes. Pictured below is the pastors wife who is currently attending seminary. I promised to pray for her!
On our way out we drove through the community to get a full picture of where these kids live. Thankful for the day and praying this day is forever in our hearts, that we never take for granted again the things the Lord has given us.
