Monday, Monday

Monday, Monday!

It's been a great day! We're all exhausted, but in a good way!

Today we headed to the Abraham Project to teach in the Daycare Center and to do construction work. We had our lessons planned for the Daycare and we were eagerly anticipating our work assignment.

Today's Daycare lesson was Creation and teaching about "In the beginning". We had two different groups and the kids did great with their Spanish.

After the lesson, we gave them all fans that they could color--a fan of God's Promises.

We had a few different work assignments. Some were widening a trench, some were shoveling gravel, and some were sanding and painting. We are excited to be able to bless the Abraham Project anyway that we can.

It's rainy season in Costa Rica right now, so it rains most afternoons. The storms moved in this afternoon, do we had to move to some shelter (we were determined to work in the rain, but then the lightning kicked in, so we had to call it quits).

The work under the shelter involved sanding scaffolding and painting.

It's much harder than it looks!

We've already had our team meeting tonight. We have a group currently practicing their skits for tomorrow and the rest are bonding by playing games.

The team is getting along great and the team is feeling good--tired, but good.

Here's a final picture for the road--Robert at the market yesterday.
