On Monday we had the opportunity to serve in the Day Care and to serve by doing whatever construction work was needed.
The way that we work our team is we divided it into two teams and half will go to Day Care on one day in the mornings while the other goes to construction. The next day the teams flip. No one gets out of teaching or construction :)
At some point on this trip every student will teach and will be stretched.
The Day Care at the Abraham Project is a beautiful site.
"The priority of the daycare center is to offer parents a safe alternative for their children while their parents are working.
The children participate in structured educational lessons through games, activities, and crafts. The daycare center supplies meals for the children and attends to the spiritual needs of each child."
What I love is the opportunity to say use us how ever is a blessing to you. What that also means is we have no idea what we will be doing until we get here. What that also means is that can change per day and during the day. The team is awesome and has worked incredibly hard no matter what has been asked of them.
The day care crew joined the construction crew to finish out Monday.
We had an enjoyable evening at home at Franco's. Dinner around the table.
Team meetings are beautiful with worship and searching Gods heart of relationship and encounter.
Thank you for journeying with us.
