Monday was welcomed with a 5am wake
up call and a 5:30am pick up!Over the mountains and through the ... Rainforest we went...
With a stop for a typical tico breakfast along the way...
We pulled into the province of Limon, to the little village of Pocora to discover our assignment for the week was mixing cement and building the walls of the local church. What an honor!
Another job was to clear the field so that soccer and VBS could take place later in the afternoon!
VBS prep work needed to be done!
Then after lunch it was soccer time!
Back to work ...
Up next... VBS with the local village kids taught by our awesome team members!
We had a special guest at VBS!
It was back to work for a few more hours...
We watched the sun go down as we worked! A long day, but a great day!
Back to our rainforest hotel for dinner and team meeting time!
And good ole photo bombing by the missionaries to close out the evening... What more could you ask for!
